The ASCE Sacramento Capitol Branch is excited to promote an upcoming event showing the “Cities of the Future” film at the Downtown Imax on October 22nd. There are two showings: the first showing is at 1:00 pm and the second showing is at 6:30 pm.

Tickets are FREE for students (K-12), teachers, and chaperones. So if you have family or friends that are educators or communities leaders, please pass this event information along. Tickets are available on the Capital Branch website.

Ticket prices are:

• ASCE Members $15
• Adults $25
• Supporters* $50 (supporters receive one admission ticket and gratitude for sending a few kids to the future! aka help with transportation stipends)

We are looking for volunteers!! We are planning activities for the kids after each showing. So if you are interested in developing an activity for the kids, participate in a panel for kids to ask us questions about engineering, or general support on the day of the event, please fill out the form.

Sponsors are needed to help support the event and get more students (K-12) to the showings. Sponsorship funds will be directed to pay for the free tickets and for transportation stipends. Get your company’s name out there and help us send kids from ALL neighborhoods to the future!!!
